Our Commitment
Avatier wants everyone to be able to use our websites, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control, magnification or reduced motion settings. We design and test our sites against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard referenced by most accessibility laws and procurement requirements.
Sites This Statement Covers
- credentialgovernance.avatier.com
- identitychallengecard.avatier.com
- directorynativelifecyclegovernance.avatier.com
- identity-anywhere-2027.avatier.com
How We Test
- Automated accessibility checks (axe-core) in each site's test suite.
- Browser audits of every page template at desktop and mobile widths, most recently on 22 October 2026.
- Manual checks with the keyboard only, at 200% zoom and 320 pixel width, and with reduced motion turned on.
What We Have Built In
- A "Skip to content" link and a clear heading structure on every page.
- A visible focus outline for keyboard users, and a fixed header that never covers the element in focus.
- Text and buttons that meet WCAG contrast ratios.
- Pause controls on every scrolling logo strip and moving background, and no motion at all when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Captions on our explainer videos, and transcripts for page narration.
- Labels and clear error messages on every form.
Known Limitations
- Cookie consent banner: provided by Cookiebot. Its button colours fall slightly below the WCAG contrast ratio, and on some pages it holds keyboard focus until you make a choice. We are changing its settings.
- Meeting scheduler: the embedded HubSpot calendar is a third-party widget with its own accessibility issues. A plain booking link is always shown next to it.
- Explainer video descriptions (Lifecycle & Access Governance): the transcripts cover the voiceover. Text that appears only on screen is not yet described. Recorded 22 October 2026.
- Translations: page labels in languages other than English were translated recently and are being reviewed by native speakers.
Report a Problem
If something on our sites is hard to use, tell us. Open a support case, tell us the page and what went wrong, and start the description with "Accessibility". We aim to reply within two business days and to fix confirmed issues as quickly as we can.
Our Standard
This statement describes the standard we target and how we test. It is not a certification. We review it whenever we change our sites and at least every six months.
